Job summary

TipTopJob in Lancashire seeks a Learning and Development Coordinator to design, plan and deliver a comprehensive range of training programmes for our care teams across residential, nursing and homecare settings.

You will oversee L&D across sites in the North West, travel as needed to provide cover, ensure outcomes meet Skills for Care and CQC standards, and support induction and the e-learning system.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent, with experience delivering care-related training across varied subjects.
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes in a care setting.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills to engage a wide range of learners.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver a wide range of training courses across multiple sites.
• Deliver high-quality training to groups of employees in residential, nursing and homecare settings.
• Conduct learner assessments to ensure outcomes meet Skills for Care and CQC standards.
• Support induction training for new homes and employees to ensure consistent delivery.
• Facilitate Champion programmes and support home champions to meet standards.
• Maintain training records and adapt content as needed.
• Provide guidance on the e-learning system and keep content updated.

Job description

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for committed Learning and Development Coordinator to design, plan, and deliver a comprehensive range of training programmes to ensure our teams deliver high:quality, person:centred care

You will oversee learning and development across our residential and nursing care homes, and potentially homecare branches, primarily located in the North West region. As part of the Learning and Development Team, you will also be required to travel to other regions to provide cover as needed

As The Coordinator Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Design, plan and deliver a wide range of training courses, including but not limited to Safeguarding, Moving and Assisting, First Aid, Dementia and the Mental Capacity Act
• Deliver high:quality training to groups of employees across multiple sites
• Conduct learner assessments and ensure outcomes meet Skills for Care and CQC standards
• Support induction training for new homes and employees, ensuring consistent delivery
• Facilitate and lead Champion programmes, supporting home champions to achieve required standards
• Maintain accurate training records and adapt to varying operational needs
• Provide guidance and troubleshooting support on the e:learning system
• Keep training content and methods current and aligned with best practices and company ethos

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in care (e.g. Skills for Care, CQC)
• Compassionate, empathetic, and able to engage a wide range of learners
• Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Flexible and able to travel between sites as required
• Experience in designing new course content as required

Benefits
