Job Title: Classroom Learning and Care Support Assistant Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Working Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours (term-time only) Start: ASAP Pay: £89.00-£95.00 per day (Experience Dependant) Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you have experience providing both learning and personal care support? If so, we want to hear from you! Axcis Education is currently recruiting for Learning and Care Support Assistants to work in a range of fantastic mainstream and specialist schools across Stockport. These roles are full-time, term-time only, and available for an immediate start. Key Responsibilities: - Provide 1:1 and group support to students with additional needs, including Autism, complex learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. - Assist with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and mobility support, where required. - Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in school life. - Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies. Requirements: - Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or personal care needs (in school, care, or similar settings). - A kind, patient, and resilient nature. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
