Pay Rate: 13.69 to 15.87 per hour

Reeson Education is looking for a motivated and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in the WA14 area of Altrincham. This full-time, long-term Learning Support Assistant role is to start as soon as possible and offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across all year groups with their learning and development.
The Learning Support Assistant will work with small groups of pupils throughout the school, delivering targeted support in core subjects including English and Maths. The goal of this Learning Support Assistant role is to help close learning gaps, reinforce key concepts, and provide consistent encouragement to boost pupil confidence and academic progress.

Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Deliver small group support across all year groups in core subjects
Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy, and comprehension skills
Adapt support to meet different learning styles and individual needs
Monitor and report on pupil progress and engagement
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions
Support classroom routines and promote a positive learning environment
The Ideal Learning Support Assistant Will:
Be experienced in supporting pupils in primary education
Have strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
Be confident working with a range of ages and abilities
Be proactive, patient, and encouraging in their approach
Be committed to helping all pupils achieve their potential
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
References covering the last 2-3 years
Previous experience in a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant role
