Job summary

Skills for Security is hiring a Learner Engagement Officer on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on supporting apprentices and their employers, recording progress and providing timely pastoral guidance.

You will work with our sector experts to ensure regulatory compliance and learner development. The position offers home/hybrid working with 1-2 days on-site, a competitive salary plus bonus potential, generous leave and pensions, and opportunities for funded qualifications and

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and spoken communication is essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.
• Flexible, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with apprentices and their employers.
• Accurately record details of conversations and progress.
• Hold regular progress updates with apprentices and employers.
• Provide support and identify where learners may need extra help.
• Interact with sector specialists to contextualise feedback and drive learner improvement.
• Assist with catch-up on overdue submissions and exam invigilation as required.
