Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd in Lincoln seeks a proactive engagement professional to champion adult learning programmes. You will build partnerships, promote courses, deliver information and guidance sessions, and manage learner referrals to drive enrolments and progression.

Essential qualifications include Level 2 IAG and GCSEs; a driving licence is required. The role offers flexible hybrid working and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 IAG or equivalent qualification required.
• GCSEs in English, Maths and ICT at grade A*-C.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• L3 IAG or equivalent qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders and networks to support growth of adult learning programmes.
• Identify and promote suitable Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referral sources.
• Conduct information, advice and guidance sessions for potential learners.
• Engage with learners, employers and community groups, providing information on available programmes.
• Maintain detailed learner referral information and share updates with tutors and managers.
• Respond to referral inquiries and provide necessary support.
• Assess learner needs and provide tailored information and guidance.
• Attend education and careers events to promote adult learning.
• Ensure recruitment, enrolment and contract documentation meet funding/regulatory requirements.
• Meet monthly targets for starts, placements and progression.
• Develop learner engagement strategies to promote participation.
• Collect feedback to improve programme quality.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programmes.
