Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd is seeking a dedicated Engagement and Recruitment Coordinator to promote adult learning programmes in Lincolnshire. You will build strong partnerships with community groups, identify suitable courses, and deliver information, advice, and guidance sessions to potential learners.

You will manage learner referrals, maintain records for recruitment and enrolment, support tutors and managers, and help meet monthly targets for starts and progression while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Level 2 IAG or equivalent qualification is essential.
• GCSE grade A*-C in English, Maths and ICT is essential.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Level 3 IAG or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, community organisations and networks to foster partnerships.
• Identify and actively promote suitable Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referral sources.
• Conduct information, advice and guidance sessions to inform potential learners about opportunities.
• Engage with potential learners, employers and community groups, providing information on programmes.
• Maintain detailed learner referral information for each programme and coordinate with tutors, Skills Performance Manager and Heads of Curriculum.
• Respond to referral inquiries and provide support aligned with learner needs.
• Assess learner needs, aspirations and challenges to guide their learning journey.
• Attend education and careers events to promote adult learning and other programmes.
• Ensure recruitment, enrolment and contract documentation meet funding and regulatory requirements.
• Meet monthly targets for programme starts, placements and progression.
