Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd in South Yorkshire is seeking a dedicated candidate to champion adult learning programmes, grow learner referrals and enrolments, and build partnerships with external stakeholders.

You will ensure compliance, manage recruitment and enrolment documentation, and work toward monthly targets for starts and progression.

The role emphasizes engaging with learners, employers, and community groups, delivering information, advice, and guidance to support learning journeys.

Qualifications

• Level 2 IAG or equivalent qualification.
• GCSE grade A*-C in English, Maths and ICT.
• Full driving licence.
• Desirable: Level 3 IAG or equivalent qualification.
• Track record of learner and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Experience of providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, community organisations, and networks to foster partnerships that support growth of adult learning programmes.
• Identify and promote suitable Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referral sources.
• Conduct information, advice and guidance sessions to inform potential learners about opportunities.
• Engage with potential learners, employers and community groups providing information on programmes.
• Manage learner referral information for each programme and coordinate with tutors and managers.
• Respond to referral inquiries and provide necessary assistance.
• Assess learner needs and provide tailored information and guidance for their learning journey.
• Promote adult learning at education and careers events as required.
