Job summary

Swim Sports Company Ltd. is seeking a Learn to Swim Business Manager to lead a venue team and deliver exceptional swimming experiences for children and families.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure lesson safety and quality, and set a tone of excellence throughout the team. You will motivate staff, uphold safeguarding and safety standards, manage customer communications, and collaborate with swim@ colleagues to share best practices regionally.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small to medium teams in customer-focused settings.
• Proven ability to develop sales or new business with customers.
• Strong communication skills for calls, visits, and in-person interactions.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in operations.
• Commitment to high standards of service and team performance.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection best practices.
• Willingness to travel regionally and stay away from home as needed.
• Holder of a Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support your venue team to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons and service.
• Maintain exceptional operational standards across safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Carry out regular quality checks and feedback sessions with instructors and team members.
• Manage customer communications, including calls and follow-ups to leads/enquiries.
• Monitor venue performance, attendance, and customer feedback, taking action where improvements are needed.
• Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, equality, and data protection policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across swim@ and swim! centres to share best practices.
• Attract new customers through hyperlocal community engagement and retain existing customers.
