Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a Swimming Coordinator to lead the swim programme across our leisure facilities. You will schedule 1:1 lessons, coordinate school swim programmes and manage Swim Instructors, motivating pupils to become confident pool users and helping swimmers achieve fitness goals.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in swimming and a commercial background, with a commitment to ongoing CPD and knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a commercial swimming context.
• Commitment to Continuous Personal Development (attending at least 2 courses/workshops per year).
• Good working knowledge of Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the swim programme across facilities.
• Schedule 1:1 lessons and coordinate school swim programmes.
• Manage Swim Instructors and empower them to motivate and instruct pupils.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to all pool users.
