Apex Resource Management in Oldbury is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence across our production environment. You will implement lean principles, improve workplace organisation, and identify opportunities to reduce waste and boost efficiency.

You will work closely with Operations, Production and Technical teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement and support workforce development.

Formación

• 3-5 years' experience in Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Improvement or Continuous Improvement roles.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Experience with 5S implementation and delivering measurable improvements.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma accreditation would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and develop a 5S programme to reduce waste and maintain a safe, organised workplace.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to increase operational efficiency and hit production targets.
• Apply lean principles to identify waste, improve processes and drive sustainable improvements.
• Support production teams with structured problem-solving and process optimisation.
• Ensure risk assessments are established and reviewed across operational processes.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives and promote proactive safety.
• Deliver operator training and develop staff in collaboration with Production and Technical teams.
• Collaborate across functions to embed continuous improvement and best practice.
