Job summary

Progressive is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive process optimisation and efficiency at their site near Stevenage. You will lead initiatives to enhance production performance while working closely with cross-functional teams across machining, welding, and fabrication processes. The role requires an HND or degree in Engineering, experience in high-volume manufacturing, and knowledge of Lean methodologies. The position offers a salary up to £45,000, an annual bonus, a pension scheme, and various health and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, ideally automotive or similar.
• Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Drive defect reduction through error-proofing and process control.
• Support new product introduction from concept through to production.
