Rotherham United FC is seeking an Academy Analyst to support its academy performance analysis team. The role involves filming and processing matches and training, delivering video feedback to coaches and contributing to player development within the U18 pathway.

The positions covers weekend matches at the academy training ground and a range of academy sessions, requiring strong football knowledge and experience with analysis tools.

Formación

• Good level of football knowledge and analysis experience
• Understanding of the elite sporting environment
• Experience with SportsCode, Keynote, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience filming and editing video at a semi-professional club or higher
• Excellent communication, highly organised and a strong team player

Rotherham United is looking for an Academy Analyst with an interest in performance analysis to join its academy team.

The Role

You will help the performance analysis department deliver high-quality footage for player development, contributing to the video feedback process. The role covers weekend matches at the academy training ground and a number of U18 and academy training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and film matches and training
• Process and upload matches to Hudl platforms
• Give tactical and technical feedback to coaches
• Contribute to player development through video feedback

About You

• A good level of football knowledge and analysis experience
• A good understanding of the elite sporting environment
• Experience with SportsCode, Keynote, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience filming and editing video at a semi-professional club or higher
• Excellent communication skills, highly organised and a strong team player

Key Details

• Location: Rotherham
• Contract: Fixed term until 9 May 2027, including weekend work
• Pay: £12.71 per hour
• Closing date: 31 October 2026
