Job summary

Health Partners in the United Kingdom is seeking an ambitious Lead Physiologist to spearhead onsite health and wellbeing services for a prestigious client, driving a clear strategic direction and delivering exceptional results.

You will design, develop, and implement wellbeing programmes to boost employee health, engagement, and productivity, while mentoring a team of Senior and Wellbeing Physiologists and admin staff. This remote role requires UK residency with nationwide travel.

Qualifications

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Therapy, or a related field.
  • Experience delivering training, development, and health assessments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
  • Track record of building productive relationships with stakeholders and delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • Solid understanding of workplace wellness strategies and clinical measures/interventions.
  • Proactive, positive approach with professional accountability in practice.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the client's Centre for Wellbeing services, setting a clear strategic direction and delivering exceptional results.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of wellbeing programmes that enhance employee health, engagement, and productivity.
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for health and wellbeing, fostering a culture prioritising wellbeing across the organisation.
  • Support and mentor a team of Senior Physiologists, Wellbeing Physiologists, and administration professionals.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse data and deliver impactful reports to drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Represent the service at local, regional, and national levels, raising the profile of our work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a driven and experienced professional with a strong background in health, wellbeing, or sports science. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Health Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Therapy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in delivering training, development, and health assessments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences in an engaging and persuasive way.
  • A track record of building productive relationships with key stakeholders and delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • A solid understanding of workplace wellness and wellbeing strategies, coupled with knowledge of clinical measures and interventions.
  • A proactive and positive approach, with a clear understanding of professional accountability in the scope of practice.

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing performance.
  • Proven success in running services independently and managing budgets.
  • A background in leading organisational change and service transformation initiatives.
  • Project management expertise and an understanding of best practices in health and wellbeing.

Location: Remote (UK Based Only) with frequent nationwide travel

Whilst our team operates remotely, we maintain a cohesive and friendly work environment through constant use of Teams chat and video meetings. This way of working is crucial for sustaining our open culture and warm dynamics of our team and require this role to be a part of that.
