Job summary

Pontoon is recruiting an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Services Lead on a contract basis. The role is hybrid with predominantly remote work and occasional UK travel, offering an 8-month contract and 37.5 hours per week.

It focuses on shaping the next generation of occupational health and wellbeing services across a large national organisation. You'll influence strategy, deliver critical programmes, and collaborate with senior HR, ER, Safety and business leaders to achieve meaningful wellbeing

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Occupational Health or Employee Wellbeing.
• Experience managing external OH/ wellbeing providers.
• Proven track record delivering strategic wellbeing programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with external occupational health providers and monitor service performance.
• Act as the subject matter expert for OH services UK-wide.
• Partner with HR, Employee Relations, Health & Safety and senior stakeholders to support wellbeing initiatives.
• Support a multi-year Health & Wellbeing strategy and roadmap.
• Provide expert guidance on OH compliance, standards, policies and best practice.
• Use data, trends and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
• Lead and support organisation-wide wellbeing projects and programmes.
• Mobilise and implement future OH and wellbeing services.
• Support initiatives on mental health, neurodiversity, menopause, stress and workplace health.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Wellbeing, Occupational Health, or Employee Wellbeing professional to influence strategy, lead critical programmes, and shape the future of workplace wellbeing across a large national organisation.

We're partnering with a major infrastructure and services organisation to recruit a Health & Wellbeing Services Lead. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, supplier management, and wellbeing service mobilisation.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting an established Health & Wellbeing strategy while helping to design and implement the next generation of occupational health and wellbeing services across the UK business.

Why This Role is Unique

This isn't a traditional operational occupational health role.

You'll be working at the centre of a large-scale wellbeing function, partnering with senior HR, Employee Relations, Safety and Business Leaders to deliver meaningful wellbeing outcomes for employees while supporting the rollout of new health and wellbeing services.

You'll also have the opportunity to influence long-term wellbeing strategy, support a major service mobilisation programme, and work across a range of national initiatives covering areas such as mental health, neurodiversity, physiotherapy, occupational health, health surveillance and wider employee wellbeing programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

? Leading and supporting organisation-wide wellbeing projects and programmes.

? Playing a key role in the mobilisation and implementation of future occupational health and wellbeing services.

? Supporting wellbeing initiatives covering topics such as mental health, neurodiversity, menopause support, organisational stress and workplace health programmes.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience within Occupational Health, Employee Wellbeing, Health & Wellbeing, Health Management or a related field.
• Experience managing external occupational health and wellbeing service providers.
• Proven experience delivering strategic wellbeing programmes within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience leading or supporting organisation-wide transformation or service implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting wellbeing data and trends.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health, Health & Wellbeing, Workplace Health, Public Health, Health Management or a related discipline.
