Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Welding NDT and Coating QC Supervisor to oversee welding, NDT and coating inspection activities on onshore/offshore projects. The role supports the on‑shore Quality Engineer for Landfall and Outlet Facilities in the Teesside region.

Applicants should have hands‑on welding and NDT experience, extensive ITP knowledge, and CSWIP/PCN certifications. This contractor role is 12 months, full‑time, outside IR35 with UK right‑to‑work required.

Qualifications

• Experienced multi‑disciplined inspector in welding, coatings and NDT inspection within oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of ITPs, QC requirements and project specs.
• Hands‑on welding and NDT inspection experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Review QC Plans, procedures and ITPs for welding, NDT and coating.
• Ensure documents meet project specs, codes and contractual requirements.
• Evaluate Sub‑Contractor QC personnel qualifications and certify test results.
