Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welding, NDT & Coating QC Supervisor for a Teesside onshore site. A long-term contract at £550–£600 per day (outside IR35) with a full-time schedule on a major energy project.

You will lead welding, NDT, and coating inspections, ensure QC plans and ITPs are met, and manage documentation and witness points alongside subcontractors and the project quality team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi-Disciplined / Welding QC Inspector within Oil & Gas, Energy or similar industries.
• Strong experience across welding, NDT and coating inspection.
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector.
• BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2 Coating Inspector or equivalent.
• PCN Level 2 PT, MT & UT.
• Strong understanding of QC Plans, ITPs and project specification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise welding, NDT and coating inspection activities on site.
• Review and ensure compliance with QC Plans, ITPs, procedures and method statements.
• Attend witness and hold points.
• Review inspection reports, NDT results and coating records.
• Verify welding, NDT and coating personnel qualifications and certifications.
• Manage quality documentation, traceability and inspection records.
• Support subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure documentation meets final project turnover requirements.

Are you an experienced Welding, NDT & Coating QC Supervisor looking for a long-term contract working on a major energy project?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in the EPC and energy sector, supporting quality activities across welding, NDT and coating works on a major project.

You will work alongside the project Quality team and subcontractors, ensuring all inspection activities are completed in line with approved QC Plans, ITPs, project specifications and industry standards.

The Role:
