Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for our Dunelm site in Stoke. You will lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role working a 5-from-7 day pattern, 14:00–22:00. Salary up to £30,000 plus benefits including 33 days of annual leave, private healthcare, a dental plan, a workplace pension and access to GXO University for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a team leader/first line manager in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Ability to lead, develop and manage a team and recognise success.
• Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day running of the warehouse area and lead the team to achieve targets.
• Pro-actively support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
• Ensure operations comply with health & safety policies and raise risks when identified.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand customer and company requirements and incorporate into planning and reporting.
