Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a confident Warehouse Team Leader for our Worksop operation. You will lead a team across the shift, drive performance, and ensure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are met daily.

In this role you will support the Shift Manager, organise and coach colleagues, manage stock reception and handling, and maintain clear communication to keep operations running smoothly and under control.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of around warehouse colleagues across the operation
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.
