Job summary

Great Bear in Markham Vale is seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor for a full-time permanent role. You will support the Shift Manager with daily warehouse operations, ensuring targets, safety, and housekeeping standards are met.

Working hours are 4 on, 4 off days 06:00–18:00, with a salary of £32,538 per annum. You will supervise staff, coordinate activities, monitor performance, and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of on-site systems.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Experience with SAP, PKMS, Road Runner preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS Autostore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse issues with the Shift Manager.
• Lead scheduling and supervision of warehouse staff.
• Ensure timely completion of all warehouse activities.
• Communicate plans to Operations Controllers for customer satisfaction.
• Maintain health and safety compliance.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Support training and development of staff.
• Manage absence coverage and staffing levels.
• Contribute to management team improvements.
