Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Crieff is seeking a knowledgeable Head Veterinary Nurse to join Fair City Vets on a full-time basis. You’ll provide senior clinical and professional leadership for the nursing team, oversee nursing standards, and support the delivery of high-quality patient and client care across Crieff and other sites.

This 40-hour week runs over 4 days (8:00–19:00) with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota. You’ll manage nurse rotas, mentor teams, drive governance and quality improvement, and

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS
• Experience leading nursing teams
• Strong governance and quality improvement knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing teams across multiple practice sites
• Maintain high clinical and patient care standards
• Oversee nurse rotas and day-to-day workflow
• Drive consistency in nursing procedures and client care
• Encourage nurse-led clinics and services
• Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and leadership teams to support growth and wellbeing
