Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to oversee clinical standards across Fair City and Crieff Vets. The role blends hands-on veterinary work with leadership responsibilities, operating on a 50/50 site split between the two practices.

You will shape clinical governance, mentor colleagues, and drive quality improvement within our veterinary network. The Elevate programme enhances remuneration and relocation support with a generous package.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration.
• Significant experience within first opinion veterinary practice.
• Experience in leadership and clinical governance.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality consultations and manage a varied medical and surgical caseload.
• Lead clinical standards across two practices and support high-quality patient care.
• Drive clinical governance initiatives, including audits, protocols and continuous improvement.
• Act as clinical lead and support with complex cases and second opinions.
• Mentor and develop colleagues, support CPD and clinical progression.
• Collaborate with Practice Managers to steer clinical strategy and performance.
