Job summary

Kainos is seeking an experienced User Researcher (Consultant) to deliver actionable insights that shape service experiences and meet user needs. You will coach staff, grow our Experience Design capability, and advocate needs-based design with a focus on research excellence across digital services.

You will lead research strategies, conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative studies, and collaborate with client teams to ensure research plans align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Lead, plan, develop, and conduct research activities with appropriate methods
• Expert knowledge and application of qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver relevant research plans and strategies
• Design and lead workshops across a project lifecycle
• Represent user research across the organisation
• Develop people through coaching and mentoring of senior staff and wider community
• Communicate effectively at all levels and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and value-driven research outcomes
