Job summary

Scantec is recruiting an experienced Lead Engineer – Tunnelling to join a major nuclear infrastructure programme in Warrington. You will lead the development, design and substantiation of tunnelling and underground structures on a site-based, full-time basis, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
• CEng or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development, design and substantiation of tunnelling and underground structures.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure compliant, integrated engineering solutions.
• Coordinate tunnelling design with civil, structural, geotechnical, construction and systems teams.
• Oversee ground–structure interaction and excavation support systems.
