Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. seeks a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor for the Chester County Bridge project. You will oversee inspection activities, review plans and specs, and coordinate with contractors and engineers to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include daily reports, progress schedules, and payments. Strong communication and leadership are essential, with required certifications and ECMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or post secondary education and can read, write, and communicate in English and do basic math computations for length, area, and volume.
• BS Civil Engineering required; NICET Level 2+ in Transportation/Highway Construction preferred.
• Certifications in NECEPT Bituminous, ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician, PennDOT/PTC CDS, OSHA 10-Hr preferred.
• ECMS experience and bridge construction experience are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others on plans, specs, materials, equipment and construction methods.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain progress schedules; check shop drawings and quotations; record quantities and costs.
• Prepare contractors' progress payment claims and recommend payments; may supervise a staff of inspectors.
• Travel as required and as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and safety plans.
