Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Liverpool seeks a Principal Development Planner with a strong development-related transport planning background to join our Development team.

You will lead on a range of projects from commercial, retail and residential through to developing transport strategies and inputs into masterplans, supporting proposals through the planning process. You will mentor Early Career Professionals, manage project delivery and work with senior colleagues to develop business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical transport planning work on TA, Travel Plans, parking strategies.
• Experience in preparing traffic flow information for Transport Assessments or Environmental Statements.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and invoicing on small to mid-size projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical transport planning input into Development planning projects.
• Mentor Early Career Professionals to assist in project delivery.
• Support delivery and leadership of complex multi-disciplinary projects with senior colleagues.
• Assist in business development and client discussions.
