Job summary

WSP in Liverpool is seeking a Senior Consultant to support our Development Team, specialising in Transport / Civil Engineering for Development Planning. You will deliver transport planning input from site selection through planning approvals and implementation.

You will lead on Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Parking Studies and related tasks, while mentoring staff and coordinating with design, environment and infrastructure teams across the north of England.

Qualifications

• A numerate first degree in Transport, Mathematics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning or a related subject.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of concept studies, Transport Statements and Transport Assessments toward planning approvals.
• Mentor staff and maintain productive client relationships.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; manage projects to budget and schedule.
• Support development proposals through planning process and approvals.
