Job summary

Boeing Milton Keynes seeks a Training Systems Safety Lead to drive system safety development for synthetic training equipment. You will lead artefact creation, hazard analyses and safety cases, coordinating with UK MOD and Boeing teams to ensure compliant safety evidence.

You will mentor safety engineers, manage planning and deliver safety improvements across training programs while aligning with Defence standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading and developing Safety Assessments for aircraft training and synthetic training systems.
• Experience developing Safety Management Systems and in-service management of Safety Cases and Hazard Logs.
• Experience with common safety tools such as CASSANDRA, Adelard Assurance and Safety Case Environment.
• Experience applying safety legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Safety artefacts and documentation per Defence Standard 00-056 for training systems.
• Identify applicable regulations and compare international directives (US/EU).
• Hazard identification and analysis including PHI, FFA, OSA, OHA.
• Maintain Hazard Logs and Safety Case Reports with supporting evidence.
• Coordinate with UK MOD suppliers and Boeing interfaces to support Safety Case.
