Job summary
Expleo in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to develop safety arguments and supporting evidence for complex systems operating within highly regulated environments. You will work with Systems, Software, Hardware and Cyber teams to embed safety across programme delivery.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, independence in a senior engineering setting, and hands-on experience with safety cases, hazard logs and safety assurance activities within regulated
Qualifications
- Experience in Defence safety-critical environments.
- Proven track record in safety case development and safety assurance.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards is essential.
- Ability to work across Systems, Software, Hardware and Cyber disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Safety Cases, Hazard Logs, Safety Management Plans and safety artefacts.
- Lead hazard identification, risk assessment and safety assurance activities throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders, influence design reviews and collaborate with customers and assessors.
- Operate independently within a senior engineering environment and provide technical leadership.
