Right2Work is seeking a Lead Trainer to deliver the Future Choices personal development programme for adults with SEND. You’ll lead, motivate learners and colleagues, and create meaningful opportunities for growth through practical, inclusive, person-centred learning.

This permanent role is based in Westmorland and Furness, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £27,063.40 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the role

Future Choices is a five-day-a-week Personal Development Programme supporting adults aged 18+ with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our purpose is simple: to build confidence, develop independence and create real-life opportunities that enable learners to become active, valued members of their communities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring and proactive Lead Trainer who will play a hands-on role in delivering the programme, motivating learners and colleagues, and creating meaningful opportunities for personal development.

You will be a visible, active and involved leader, who is prepared to work alongside learners, deliver engaging activities, build relationships and turn everyday experiences into valuable learning opportunities. We believe personal development comes from doing, experiencing, trying, reflecting and having another go.

A supermarket visit can develop skills with money, communication, choice and independence. A community activity can develop travel skills, citizenship, wellbeing and belonging. You will encourage learners and your team to have a go, try something different, learn from mistakes, keep going and celebrate progress.
