Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Coalville, Leicestershire, is seeking a Test Engineer to own the finish line for a major automated distribution centre. You’ll run final testing after commissioning and decide when it’s ready for handover to the client.

You’ll plan and execute SAT, performance and volume tests, test conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and oversee PLC and WCS/WMS integration. You’ll log and close issues in Jira and act as the main tester alongside engineers, commissioning teams and the client

Qualifications

• A strong grounding in PLCs, SCADA and automated systems.
• On-site work with clients.
• Experience backgrounds: Test Manager, Commissioning Engineer, Controls or Automation Engineer.

Responsabilités

• Plan and run the big tests (SAT, performance and volume).
• Test cutting-edge automation (conveyors, cranes, shuttles).
• Oversee PLC and WCS/WMS testing to ensure system integration.
• Track and close out issues in Jira and re-test fixes.
• Be the main point of contact during testing with engineers, commissioning teams and the client.
