Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking a Test Automation Architect to lead the testing strategy for a Blue Yonder WMS Transformation Program in the UK retail space. You will define end-to-end testing across functional, system, integration, and automation streams and drive quality for complex warehouse processes.

You'll collaborate with warehouse teams, platform and business units to plan, coordinate, and deliver a seamless transformation, defining automation frameworks, data management, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Proven experience in test automation architecture and framework design.
• Hands-on API and integration testing automation experience.
• Knowledge of BY WMS or similar enterprise WMS platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript or Python.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-wide test automation strategy and roadmap.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Lead automation for end-to-end testing across BY WMS and integrated systems.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Select and standardize automation tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps teams to enable shift-left testing.
• Ensure high test coverage and reusability of automation assets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to automation engineers.
• Oversee defect management, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
• Drive test data management and environment strategy for automation.
• Monitor and report automation metrics, ROI, and quality improvements.
• Drive Agile testing practices, automation, and continuous quality improvement.
