Carrington West seeks a Principal Temporary Works Engineer to join a growing team delivering temporary works design and related services across major infrastructure and construction projects. Flexible working in a UK-wide set of locations is offered, with a healthy mix of office presence and up to 1-2 days from home per week.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong grounding in civil/structural and temporary works principles.
• Experience leading complex construction projects with safety and buildability focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex construction engineering services including temporary works design and checking.
• Review permanent designs for compliance and buildability.
• Support tenders and preconstruction planning; provide technical guidance on site issues.
