Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Temporary Works Co-ordinator for a major infrastructure project near Aylesbury. You will manage and coordinate the TW process from design through installation and removal, ensuring compliance with design briefs and site conditions.

Key responsibilities include TW identification, risk assessment, design checks, and communication of Safe System of Work, with oversight of inspections, ground conditions, and responsibilities for bespoke fabrication competence.

Qualifications

• Temporary Works experience is essential.
• Working knowledge of civil engineering projects.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the specification, design, approval, checking, installation, maintenance and removal of all temporary works (TW).
• Identify all TW and record on the TW Control Register and assess risk levels.
• Prepare Design Briefs with full consultation to ensure adequacy and alignment with site conditions and TW design checks.

HNC in Construction or equivalent qualification
