Job summary

Cloud People is a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner delivering projects across Azure, Microsoft 365 and security to SMEs in the South West. You will work autonomously on end-to-end projects, from scoping to handover, with minimal hand-holding.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Azure experience across infrastructure, migrations and identity.
• Solid Microsoft 365 delivery experience including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune.
• Genuinely autonomous and trusted to run projects from scoping to handover.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft projects end to end across Azure, Microsoft 365 and security.
• Design and build Azure infrastructure, migrations and hybrid identity solutions.
• Deliver modern workplace projects including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune.
• Build security into project work across Defender, Entra and Purview.
• Own the technical detail from scoping through to handover into support.
• Work directly with customers as the technical point of contact during delivery.
• Support scoping and pre-sales where input helps shape the right solution.
• Keep documentation and handover quality high so projects land cleanly with the service desk.

Company & role

An established Microsoft Solutions Partner and managed service provider working with SMEs across the South West, and one of the faster growing IT businesses in the region. They hold Solutions Partner designations spanning Modern Work, Infrastructure, Security and Data & AI, alongside security accreditations most providers their size do not carry, and have recently opened a second office as part of a deliberate growth push.

Project demand has outgrown what the current team can absorb. This is a projects role, not a support one and not a leadership one. They want a technically strong, genuinely autonomous engineer who can pick up modern Microsoft work across Azure, Microsoft 365 and security and run with it without much hand holding.

The timing is the real pitch. You would be joining at a senior level just ahead of the growth rather than after it, which is a very different proposition to arriving at a business that has already settled into its shape.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Experience

• Currently working in an MSP or Microsoft partner environment, delivering projects rather than supporting them
• Strong hands on Azure experience across infrastructure, migrations and identity
• Solid Microsoft 365 delivery experience including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Intune
• Genuinely autonomous. Comfortable being handed a project and trusted to run it
• Microsoft Security exposure is highly desirable, particularly Defender, Entra and Purview
• Certifications such as AZ 104, AZ 305, MS 102 or SC 300 are welcome, though delivery track record matters more
• Commutable to Bath or Bristol for three days a week onsite
