Job summary

Sharp Business Systems France seeks a Lead Consultant to join its Professional Services team in a hybrid, client-facing role. You will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of consultants, and deliver high-quality solutions to a diverse client base.

The role combines hands-on technical work with people leadership and strategic client engagement, including managing delivery, guiding technology decisions, and contributing to service strategy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering IT consultancy services, preferably within a Managed Service Provider environment.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of server infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization, and networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
• Understanding of UK GDPR and data privacy requirements.
• Previous people management or team leadership experience.
• Microsoft Expert-level certifications, or a commitment to achieving them.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a regional team of Technical Consultants.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and development planning.
• Identify training opportunities and support continuous professional development across the team.
• Perform quality reviews of technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
• Deliver consultancy, strategic guidance and IT management services to key clients.
• Meet with existing and prospective customers to identify technology solutions that meet business needs.
• Specify, plan and deliver complex infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Support recruitment activities and help build a high-performing technical team.
• Contribute to business strategy and service improvement initiatives.
