Job summary

Intec Select Ltd is partnering with a Kent-based client to hire a Modern Workplace Engineer. The role is hands-on, designing and delivering cloud-first Microsoft 365 solutions, leading projects end-to-end, and engaging with stakeholders.

This is a doer-first position with potential to grow into broader Modern Work consulting. Ideally you will have MSP/consultancy experience and hold MD-102 and AZ-104 certifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering across Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Defender.
• Experience delivering cloud-first, serverless solutions and migrations.
• MD-102 and AZ-104 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns projects end-to-end: scoping, planning, delivery and handover with light support.
• Lead customer conversations and translate technical detail into outcomes.
• Be commercially aware on scope and change control.

Modern Workplace Engineer

A leading consultancy, that we are partnered with on an exclusive basis is hiring a Modern Workplace Engineer to join a highly technical team located in Kent paying £60,000 circa onsite 2 days per week + benefits.

We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 engineer who personally designs, builds and delivers cloud-first / serverless solutions for our customers, project manages their own delivery and stakeholders, and has the potential to grow into a Modern Work consultant. This is a doer first, not a pure consultant or architect (but scope to transition in the future).

Ideally the chosen candidate will have experience within an MSP or Consultancy background with certifications in MD-102, AZ-104. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business embarking on transformation with career progression.

Must-have technical expertise:

• Deep Microsoft 365 across Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Purview and Defender
• Proven serverless, cloud-first delivery (migrations, endpoint transformation, identity, Zero Trust)
• Azure knowledge (IaaS/PaaS, networking, AVD)

Delivery and consulting:

• Owns own projects end-to-end: scoping, planning, delivery and clean handover, with light support
• Customer-facing and personable, comfortable leading stakeholder conversations and translating technical detail into outcomes
• Commercially aware on scope and change control
