Simplify IT Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to broaden cloud skills, with autonomy to manage your own projects across hybrid infrastructure.
You will lead Azure IaaS deployments and hybrid integrations, apply deep on‑prem compute, storage, and networking knowledge, and help shape our AI‑driven service offerings.
This role offers flexible working with office visits and real ownership of client engagements.
If you're an experienced infrastructure consultant who's ready to broaden your cloud skillset — and wants real autonomy to do it — this role is built for you.
We're growing, and we're looking for a Senior Technical Consultant who's as comfortable in an on-premise infrastructure environment as they are architecting hybrid solutions in Microsoft Azure. You'll work directly with a varied customer base, tackling different challenges every week, while also having genuine input into how our technical services evolve — including our growing focus on AI-backed solutions.
This isn't a role where you'll be boxed into a single technology stack or ticket queue. You'll get variety, ownership of your own projects, and the freedom to keep learning — backed by a team that wants to invest in where the industry is heading next.
Nice to have
You're a confident communicator, equally at ease with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. You're naturally curious — the kind of person who enjoys picking up new technologies rather than being told to. You take a genuinely consultative approach with customers, and you're reliable, professional, and take pride in what you deliver.
For the first few months, we'd like you based in the office (Alcester) 2–3 days a week (when you're not on customer sites) — this helps you get properly embedded with the team and our ways of working. After that, it's fully flexible, with office visits normally just twice a month.
Ready for a role with real variety, autonomy, and a clear path into cloud and AI? We'd love to hear from you.
