Oasis Academy Brislington is seeking a Lead Teaching Assistant for the One Hub provision. The role focuses on pastoral care for students with SEMH needs, working closely with staff to promote well-being and attainment.

The successful candidate will support attendance, collaborate with families, and provide holistic care while thriving in a supportive school environment during term time.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to students and families within the One Hub.

The One Hub is our onsite alternative provision hub to support students with SEMH needs. You will work in close collaboration with other pastoral staff working holistically and preventatively to ensure learner well-being and attainment by providing care, support and challenge for the students and families within the One Hub. You will promote positive attendance and punctuality through the Academy Attendance strategy and provide professional support to vulnerable students and their families to include access to multi-agency support.Please note that a teaching qualification is not required for this role.You should enjoy working with disadvantaged young people and be able to establish positive working relationships; setting and upholding high expectations for learning and behaviour.The Successful CandidateDo you have the passion and skills to change the lives of young people in South Bristol by becoming an influence who believes, makes a difference and supports our students to achieve beyond their expectations?
