Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in Woodbridge, Suffolk is seeking a Lead Teaching Assistant / HLTA to support KS3- KS4 pupils with SEMH needs. The role offers a full-time contract starting September, with a daily rate of £143.70 and includes holiday pay.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years HLTA experience or work as Unqualified Teacher/Cover Supervisor, experience with SEMH/SEND, and strong behaviour management.

Are you an experienced HLTA, Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher looking for a new challenge within a specialist SEMH setting?

A specialist school in Woodbridgeis seeking an experienced education professional to support pupils aged 11–17 with social, emotional and mental health needs. Pupils may also have additional needs including autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.

The Role

• Support and lead learning across KS3 and KS4.


• Take responsibility for lessons when required in the absence of the class teacher.


• Support pupils with SEMH and additional learning needs.


• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation.


• Contribute to pupil progress, EHCP targets and assessment.


• Work closely with teachers and the wider support team.
