Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to lead the definition, development, integration and certification of advanced hydro & electro-mechanical actuation and control systems. You will shape architectural direction across the full lifecycle and drive supplier performance within a secure defense environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS / Polarion / Yama).
  • Extensive experience in aerospace actuation or high-integrity systems.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering, architecture, integration and V&V.
  • Experience leading supplier technical activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system-level requirements definition, traceability and validation.
  • Define system boundaries, concepts and architectural frameworks for actuation and control systems.
  • Own creation and control of system architectures and interfaces across mechanical, software, and electronics.
  • Provide technical oversight for actuation systems and ensure cohesive system integration.
  • Drive system-level trade studies, risk assessments and decisions; act as the technical authority for key programme decisions.
  • Lead supplier technical activities and reviews with emphasis on interface control, safety and certification.
