Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an experienced Testing Engineer to lead testing strategy across the lifecycle of Actuation Systems. The role focuses on component and full actuation system tests, building testing capability, and delivering compliant evidence for certification.

You will work within a multidisciplinary design team and influence testing directions while supporting design verification planning for actuators, ensuring adequate test coverage and robust data analysis.

Qualifications

Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
Technical leadership experience.
Strong understanding of dynamic systems and testing, including mechanical systems, motors and sensors.
Experience with MATLAB & Simulink for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Define and implement testing strategy across the full product lifecycle.
Build testing capability within the team and promote best practices.
Generate and deliver analysis scripts and data to support testing and certification.
Diagnose fault conditions and develop robust test evidence for compliance.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary actuation teams and stakeholders.
Shape current and future direction for testing Actuation Systems.
