Crouch Waterfall, part of the Vulcain Engineering Group, seeks a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead Cardiff-based teams. You will drive technical delivery across rail, bridges, and buildings, mentor engineers, and manage design quality from concept through delivery.

This pivotal role offers leadership in a growing regional team, with opportunities to engage with clients, lead bids, and shape project delivery across infrastructure projects in the UK.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with MICE or MIStructE status.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven ability to manage design quality and technical assurance.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in rail, buildings or infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of structural projects including bridges and building structures.
• Mentor Engineers and Technicians, guiding development.
• Review and verify designs with detailed hand calculations and software analysis.
• Oversee site surveys, inspections and condition assessments.
• Manage project programming, resources and client expectations.
