Job summary

Crouch Waterfall engineers are seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to join their Warrington team, delivering design and assessment for bridges, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, and temporary works.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary group, gaining exposure to high-value infrastructure and smaller schemes, with career progression and Chartered status support within the Vulcain Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in design of large-scale structures including bridges and reinforced concrete.
• Infrastructure/major projects or heavy industry background; Rail exposure is beneficial.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (Robot/Midas) and Tedds.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in delivering large-scale civil and structural design projects (bridges, steelwork, reinforced concrete, temporary works).
• Undertake structural design and analysis for major schemes including rail structures and building projects.
• Prepare calculations, drawings and deliverables using hand methods and software under guidance.
• Carry out site inspections and surveys of existing structures and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with project team to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Liaise with clients to clarify scope and support delivery.
