Airbus S.A.S. is seeking a Senior/Lead Design Engineer to drive structural modifications, provide technical leadership, and ensure airworthiness integration across complex systems. You will mentor engineers, uphold design integrity, and push process improvements to enhance efficiency.

The role requires a solid background in structural design with experience in certification processes and collaboration across stakeholders. A flexible working model with hybrid arrangements is offered.

Qualifications

• Design Approval (Check) or the capability to achieve this in a short timeframe.
• Authorisation for Senior Design Engineers or capability to obtain soon.
• Strong background in structural design and airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Structural Modifications: deliver design solutions and investigations to improve cost, rate, and quality.
• Provide Technical Leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance and integrity with design standards and airworthiness certification.
• Drive process improvements to enhance team capability and efficiency.
• Guide and lead Design Engineers, obtaining Design Approval (Check).
• Senior Design Engineers to hold Design Approval and Authorisation or work towards it.
• Oversee structural design leadership and solve complex structural and system modifications.
• Translate investigations into integrated technical solutions meeting safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with delivery managers to resolve issues and keep schedules.
