in-tech seeks a Structure Design Engineer to join its aerospace team in a challenging role focused on daily in-service repairs, wing design development, and Airbus DOA compliance. You will drive modification activities through gate reviews and collaborate with offshore teams to deliver high-quality engineering outputs.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of aerospace structural design experience and Airbus program exposure, with knowledge of DMU/PLM processes and certification constraints,

Qualifications

• BE / BTech / MTech / MS or equivalent in aerospace/ mechanical engineering.
• 5–10 years of hands-on aerospace structural design experience.
• Proven Airbus aircraft program experience (A320, A330, A350, A380, A400M).
• Strong knowledge of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite design principles.
• Familiar with Airbus design processes and procedures (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS).
• Experience using Airbus Supply tools such as DocMaster and Airnavx.
• Previous Airbus Design Signatory experience (Checker/Approver).
• Valid Airbus training certifications in VPM and PASS SSI.
• Experience in DMU reviews, Interface Point Management, and multi-partner environments.
• Knowledge of MOD, DQN, and RDR processes.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide Wing Engineering support under Airbus standards and procedures.
• Deliver reactive engineering support for A400M daily in-service repairs, ensuring DOA compliance.
• Lead structural design and development of primary aerospace wing components.
• Manage modification activities through Decision Gates (DG) including PDR and CDR.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure timely and clear guidance.
• Review and validate engineering outputs (3D models, 2D drawings, BOM).
• Provide expertise on structures, materials, stress sizing, manufacturing, certification constraints.
• Support process improvements, cost reductions, and digital continuity.
• Drive issue resolution with stress, manufacturing, quality, and configuration management.
• Ensure adherence to DMU, PLM, and configuration control processes.
• Prepare and present engineering reviews (PDR, CDR, DFM).
• Manage engineering data and deliverables with strict quality and traceability.
