Job summary

Airbus invites applications for a Lead Static Stress Engineer based at the Broughton site. You will lead static structural deliverables for wing-related programs, ensuring designs meet safety and certification standards while coordinating with engineers, suppliers, and technical authorities.

The role emphasizes development of digital solutions and automation, with opportunities to influence across A400M and civil programs. Nightshift and UK travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Engineering with a Structural Analysis background.
• Proficient in Static analysis processes, methods, and toolsets (ISAMI, GISEH, FEA).
• Experience with aircraft structural layouts, loading and materials mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Perform, approve, or authorise static structural deliverables to meet safety and certification standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges and improve quality and efficiency.
• Define and manage technical project scopes, guiding engineers and suppliers as a Liaison for Technical Authorities.
• Lead or support initiatives to integrate automated workflows and optimisation tools.
• Foster technical expertise and leadership within the team to drive growth.
