Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton seeks a Lead Static Stress Engineer to lead static structural work for wingbox and airframe components across programs including A400M. You will own deliverables and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure safety and certification compliance.

The role requires an Engineering degree with Structural Analysis, experience with ISAMI/GISEH/FEA, and the ability to lead technical decisions while developing digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Engineering with a Structural Analysis background.
• Proficient in static analysis processes, methods and toolsets (ISAMI, GISEH, FEA).
• Understanding of aircraft structural layouts, loading and materials mechanics.
• Ability to lead and sign off as delegated technical signatory or achieve quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform, approve or authorise static structural deliverables to meet safety standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering challenges.
• Define and manage technical project scopes and provide guidance to engineers.
• Influence and innovate by integrating automated workflows and optimisation tools.
