Job summary

Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa in Crewe is seeking a hands-on kitchen leader. You will work alongside your brigade, guiding and mentoring, ensuring food leaving the pass meets exacting standards.

Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or busy operation is essential, with knowledge of GP, stock control, costs and wastage. The role involves conferences, banqueting and events catering, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Experience in a hotel environment or busy high-volume operation.
• Conference, banqueting and events catering experience preferred.
• Quality and standards driven with keen eye for detail.
• People management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GP, stock control, costs and wastage.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, be hands-on in the kitchen and mentor your team.
• Ensure the quality and delivery of food leaving the kitchen pass to spec and to a high standard.
