Wadworth's Spread Eagle Inn in Wiltshire is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen leadership team. You will support the Head Chef, deliver high-quality dishes and lead the kitchen during the Head Chef's absence.

You'll develop the team, control costs, maintain hygiene standards, and collaborate with front-of-house to ensure memorable guest experiences. Accommodation provided (subject to availability) where applicable.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie is essential.
• Strong culinary skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Passion for developing people and food.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation.
• Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to specification and the highest standards.
• Taking responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Assisting with menu implementation, stock control, ordering and minimising waste.
• Ensuring food hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Supporting recruitment, training and development of junior chefs and kitchen team members.
• Managing service periods effectively and ensuring a smooth and successful operation.
• Driving quality, consistency and profitability through effective kitchen management.
• Working closely with front-of-house teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
