Wadworth's Spread Eagle Inn is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at the historic inn on the Wiltshire estate. You will drive quality food, manage costs, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring exceptional guest dining experiences and safe, compliant operations.

Joining a renowned brewing and pub group, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to deliver memorable experiences while maintaining high standards of hospitality and profitability.

Formación

• Previous Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership experience essential.
• Strong culinary skills and a commercial mindset.
• Passion for developing people and food.
• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing costs.

Responsabilidades

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day operation and performance of the kitchen.
• Lead, develop and inspire kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service.
• Ensure dishes are prepared, cooked and presented to specification.
• Manage labour, stock, wastage and food margins to maximise profitability.
• Recruit, training and developing chefs and kitchen staff.
• Maintain highest standards of food hygiene, safety and compliance.
• Plan rotas and manage staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Monitor food quality and customer feedback to drive improvement.
• Work with General Manager to achieve business objectives.
